will you build me an app / software / website?

My response to this will be an engineer's favorite response: it depends. Probably, if you're reading this because you don't have any connections to me and you want to cold-pitch me, the answer will probably be a no. I would love to help in an advisory role depending on my capacity or other things in my life, but I prefer to only work on software for companies that I am a partial owner of or for fun. There's definitely edge cases here for entities working on cool things, or helping my dad set a business up. But generally, I prefer to co-found companies and don't work as a contracted software developer anymore, when I have the ability to be choose-ey.
